This athlete is currently participating in Powercore 360's Arm Care, Core Strength & Pitching Performance Program, where the primary focus is on: 1) increasing mobility and stability in the shoulders, thoracic spine & hips, 2) on improving throwing mechanics, body movement sequence & timing and finally, 3) to start the process of building explosive strength, power and speed to increase arm velocity.

A huge part of our philosophy is to not only improve the athlete's ability to generate higher levels of pitching-specific strength and torque, but more importantly to be able to tolerate it, so the athlete improves their pitching performance short-term and stays healthy long-term.
PC360 Advanced Training System
Program participants train 3x/week using our patented Powercore 360s Advanced Training System. This system accelerates the learning process as athletes can feel correct and incorrect pitching movements to rapidly build the proper pitching & throwing movement patterns. The system quickly & dramatically increases explosive power as athletes perform pitching movements against resistance bands connected to our hip or torso harness, or to our arm and leg cuffs. Finally, speed is developed as athletes use the assistance of resistance bands to perform over-speed drills to move the hips, spine & shoulders faster than they can move them on their own while safely performing pitching movements.
Our equipment and programs can be used for a single athlete or for an entire team in a group setting. It can be performed at home, at the gym, in the cages or the field.
While this athlete has increased his velocity 10 MPH in 13 weeks, what we are really excited about is the improvements in his mechanics, sequencing and timing. He has truly built confidence in his ability to pitch with sound mechanics and is continuing to work on even more pitching perfomance improvements.
Notice the differences at the point of the front leg impact. The athlete gained a firm front leg, which will allow for the hip to come flying through in the next phase of the motion, the upper body is back instead of forward and the pitching arm is already loaded and ready to fire.
