Sports Strength & Athletic Development

Athletes will train LIVE ONLINE. This program develops the foundation for advanced sports strength to help athletes perform their sport skills movements more explosively. It develops the athletic strength for each athlete to squat better, load their hips, spine & shoulders to run faster, change directions quicker, jump higher, throw, hit & kick with greater velocity and with less risk for injury. Quite simply it builds better, more explosive and healthier athletes!

 

A few resistance bands are required in this program. We suggest the use of our PC360 bands.

 

Class Options & Details:

All classes are 3 days/week, 45-55 minute sessions, for ages 13-16

  • Level 1 - Introductory program required for progression to other levels
  • Level 2 - Intermediate program required for progression to advanced level
  • Level 3 - Advanced program

Vertical Jump

Athletes will train LIVE ONLINE. Athletes who can jump both higher and jump faster have an advantage in sports. Improving vertical jump QUICKLY & SAFELY is more than just lifting weights and jumping rope. This program improves vertical jump for athletes in any sport, by teaching & training proper jumping mechanics and related strength & conditioning exercises. This program will provide highly specific jumping techniques & exercises to quickly & dramatically improve vertical jump at home or in the gym.

All classes are 4 days/week, 45-55 minute sessions, for ages 13-16

Volleyball Power Hitting

Athletes will train LIVE ONLINE going through various volleyball-specific strength & conditioning exercises and power hitting mechanics drills to improve their ability to quickly & safely hit harder. Athletes will use PC360 training equipment in these sessions.

Athletes will train LIVE ONLINE going through various baseball- & softball-specific strength & conditioning exercises and power hitting mechanics drills to improve their ability to quickly & safely hit harder. Athletes will use PC360 training equipment in these sessions.

Sprinter & Hurdler Coach - University of South Carolina

Karim develops and and/or contributes to many of the PC360 speed and vertical jump programs

A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Medicine, with a Masters of Physical Therapy. She has been in practice for over 20 years with specializations, in Manual Osteopathic Medicine, Myofascial Release, Functional Mechanics of Movement, Certified Strength and Conditioning, Pilates Reformer and Apparatus Certification, and Pediatric Orthopedics.

She is the owner of Prime Athletics, a company whose focus is to train, educate and empower young female athletes from ages 8-18 years of age. She is the Director of Athlete Development and Injury Prevention at ClevPRIME Volleyball Club.

She has spent the last 4 years as the 11-1 National team head coach at AVC, qualifying her team in 2018 (the first year the 11’s age group was invited to GJNC). Kelly Fieseler is recognized locally and nationally as a leader in developing techniques and coaching methods for the 13 and under age group.

Kelly has played an integral role in rehabbing many local players and getting them back on the court healthy and ready to play for their respective grade schools, high schools and colleges.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa.
  • Currently pursuing master’s degree in Biomechanics from the University of Northern Colorado.
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, FRC mobility specialist, StrongFirst Level 1 Kettlebell, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.
